City without Hunger a strong community in Bat Yam

Food collection week at the city’s schools reached its peak on the Good Deeds Day 24/3/15. Hundreds of volunteers and members arrived at the Bat Yam Stadium in order to sort, pack and distribute food for needy families.  Additional events were held in town involving volunteers, including refurbishing more than 40 apartments of needy families and elderly people.
The community involvement was amazing, about 25 schools participated in the initiative, among the vo
lunteers were pupils, residents, policemen, students and the Municipality of Bat Yam.
In Bat Yam we are building a strong community - we are all undertaking and contributing!
