With Passover approaching, we invite you to donate a holiday meal to help ensure a joyful Passover for families and Holocaust survivors in need across Israel, especially those affected by the war.
As the security situation continues, with constant missile fire across the country, particularly in the north, Latet’s teams are operating in emergency mode, delivering vital aid in shelters and to evacuees while continuing regular support for families and the elderly in need.
500,000 Israelis, including 1,700 Holocaust survivors and elderly individuals, rely on Latet’s monthly assistance, including our Passover support. Our goal is to ensure that everyone in Israel can celebrate Passover with joy and dignity.
The cost of a Passover holiday meal for a family is $60, but any contribution will help us provide for those who need it most.
867,256 families in Israel (26.9%) live with nutritional insecurity, a 27.5% increase from last year (based on Latet’s 2025 Alternative Poverty Report). This rise represents hundreds of thousands of Israelis who are coping with the severe economic consequences of the war, and are forced every day to make painful choices between basic necessities. In fact, nearly a quarter of Latet’s beneficiaries (24.3%) began needing assistance during the past two years.
The support we provide allows families to use their limited resources for other critical expenses such as housing, medicine, and utilities.
What’s in the Passover Food Package?
The holiday food package contains monthly food, all Kosher for Passover, and includes essential staples such as rice, oil, Matzah, Grape juice, tuna, canned vegetables, Passover cookies, and much more.
Beyond the food itself, donating a holiday meal sends an important message to those who are struggling:
You are not alone. Someone is thinking of you. For the families who will receive this meal during such a difficult time, that message makes all the difference.
Please consider donating a Passover food box, and together – we can show Israelis in need that we are here for them.
